To kick off the second semester, Timberline’s Encore Choir and Theater has begun rehearsals for “Mamma Mia!”. This musical is set in Greece, and revolves around soon-to-be bride Sophie (Played by Sr. Ava Huff) and her mom Donna (Played by Jr. Lucy Routh), who works as a hotelier and is planning Sophie’s wedding. Sophie invited three of her mom’s ex-lovers to find out who her dad is, so he can walk her down the aisle. The show will premiere on February 19th, 2025 through the 22nd. The cast and crew is working very hard to make this happen, so make sure to be there!
Under Mr. Kane’s direction, Timberline’s choir and crew have been producing a one-of-a-kind show this year, including unforgettable hits from Swedish pop group ABBA, like “Dancing Queen”, “Voulez-vous”, “Money, Money, Money”, and more. To make the production even more special, Timberline is hosting a disco ball after the dinner show Saturday night! You won’t want to miss it.
