The Timberline boys soccer team clashes against Boise High at Boise’s home field on August 22nd, 2025. Boise, looking to defend their state title, and Timberline are looking to take the crown, but Timberline falls short 1-0 with a goal in the last 3 minutes by Boise. It was a very fast-paced and intense game until the end of the game, keeping it competitive.
At the end of the first half, neither team had yet to score, but very intense as it was with two players on Timberline getting a yellow card. Going into the break, the teams talked about what they needed to do to beat their rivals.
Both teams fought as hard as they could all the way through the game, but in the end, in the final 3 minutes of the game, Rosdith “Ross” Nkalu scored the game-winner to take down the 6-time state champs, the Timberline Wolves.
The talented players on Timberline played amazingly on both sides of the ball, but it was a tough loss in the end, 1-0.
