Throughout high school, seniors learn a lot about how to balance education, friends, sports, and clubs. Lucy Routh is a 12th grader at Timberline who has reliable advice for underclassmen and seniors alike for the upcoming year.
Routh’s main goal this year is to get into college, a top choice being Texas State. Aside from that, she hopes to become an experienced leader in the choir program. Routh recommends sophomores take AP Psychology to learn to get into the routine of the AP environment and difficulty. Her advice to underclassmen is to get involved in the things that motivate and inspire you. Take action in improving in your favorite sports or arts. She also advises everyone to keep in mind that high school goes quickly and things that matter now won’t forever. Routh encourages people to focus on the good things and block out the bad.
