On September 22, the famous Twitch streamer IShowSpeed visited Boise, Idaho. IShowSpeed, who has 44.6 million followers on YouTube, is known for his athleticism and viral videos of random content. This became a huge moment for all the teenage boys in the town due to Speed’s massive fan base. I had the chance to see him at The Village, outside the LEGO store. There were between 500-600 people there, and approximately 60,000 that watched at his peak. “Speed” was traveling with his crew around America over the course of 35 days. His security and local police were working extra hard that day due to the huge number of people around and running up to him.

Kellan Franck, Reporter
Hi, my name is Kellan. I am a sophomore at Timberline. I was born in Thousand Oaks, California. I have an extreme passion for rock climbing/bouldering. I joined the Timberline staff because of my love for journalism and cinematography. Goals for the Year: Go to as many sports games as possible, release recaps and coverage on sports games, and cover sports that aren’t talked about. A fun fact about myself is that I rock climb, and I am getting into new hobbies.
