Hi, my name is Mackenzie but I go by Kenz. I am a Sophomore and this is my first year at Timberline. I don't have any experience in journalism but I love writing, and I am so excited to be a part of the newspaper staff. I joined newspaper because  I'm interested in writing and current events in the world. I love to be in the loop by reading and watching news, so being the person to give out the news and write about that seems awesome. My strengths include writing, especially short stories. I mainly like to write, direct, and edit short films. One goal I have for the year is to give clubs, students, and activities the recognition they deserve. I really like arts and crafts. While I'm not the greatest at drawing, I like anything to do with crafts. It ranges from origami, painting, crocheting, and working with clay.
