Hi everyone! My name is Luana Amado and I am a senior this year at Timberline High School. I’m from Washington DC, however, I have moved to many places including Minnesota, which I moved from last summer. I enjoy writing and am excited to be a part of the Timberline pawprint! To be completely transparent, I originally joined the Pawprint staff because I loved Mrs Jones’s class and she was a great advocate for the course although now I have found that I am interested in the topics we discuss in Journalism and love that in this course we members have the freedom to create our version of what we see online. I hope to better understand what it means to be a part of journalism and how it is organized this year, and I’m excited to experience what it’s like to be a smaller sub-branch of a big industry. Lastly, a fun fact about me is I’m Brazilian!
