Hi! My name is Nora Lafferty and I am a senior at Timberline High School. I am originally from Virginia and I moved to Idaho in early 2024, but I have lived in 4 different states overall. I have always had a knack for creative writing and language arts in general, so I am very excited to be a part of the newspaper staff this year! This is my first year as editor-in-chief, and I’m interested in exploring more professional writing styles, writing feature articles, and being able to cover issues as they come so Timberline students can stay informed. I hope to further improve my journalistic writing skills and learn more about the process of news production. Outside of writing, I love art and trying new things.
