Javier Feo-Fernandez, Editor-in-Chief
I’m Javier Feo-Fernandez, a senior at Timberline High School. I’ve been interested in journalism for several years and enjoy keeping up with topics like current events and politics. Writing gives me the chance to share ideas, highlight issues that matter, and stay connected with what’s happening in the world.
Along with journalism, music has been a big part of my life. I’ve played the viola for seven years, and I’ve performed in groups such as the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the IMEA Idaho All-State Orchestra.
Another passion of mine is meteorology. I am a trained SKYWARN Spotter for the National Weather Service, which allows me to observe and report severe weather conditions to help keep people safe. This interest connects my love for science with a commitment to community service.
With journalism, I’ve found ways to learn and express myself. Each of these areas has helped shape who I am and continues to inspire what I want to pursue in the future.
