The time is 3:07 p.m. The seventh period bell has rung, and it is time to head to the student parking lot.. You put the car in drive, and just as you’re about to pull out of your spot, the kid in the spot across from you whips out and almost causes a head-on collision. You realize this is serious business. There is no time to waste at this moment. Suddenly, another car appears out of nowhere. They’re heading towards where you need to be, and you know if you don’t act now you’ll be stuck in this parking lot for who knows how long.
Again, you inch out of the parking space, and just when you think you can get out, no! A huge SUV plows through and you’re trapped. You’re getting restless now, and the clock is ticking closer to 3:30 p.m. The line of cars is growing endlessly longer. You’re probably wondering, “How are there this many students trying to leave right now?” “Will the line ever end?” “Will I be trapped here forever?”
You start to consider the end. Maybe this is your fate, trapped in the Timberline student parking lot forever. “Timberline student found decomposed in their car after being trapped in their parking space for several years” would be the headline of your feature in the news if you don’t escape. Eventually, you fight your way out of the space and you’re able to get home. A real near-death experience.
