Timberline Varsity Football team has exceeded expectations this season jumping to a 3 – 1 record on the year after their 21 – 13 win over one of the most physical teams in the state of Idaho, the Meridian Warriors. The Wolfpack rebounded after a heartbreaking 19 – 28 loss at home against the Boise Braves. This game against Meridian was a battle of defenses. There were only seven points scored in the first half coming from Timberline receiver Hudson Lewis. They added to their lead by scoring two more touchdowns coming from receiver Hudson Lewis and running back Brody Engroff. After the scoreboard hit triple zeros, the Wolfpack joined in a post game prayer circle to pray for a speedy recovery to a injured Timberline offensive lineman who exited the game in the second quarter.
According to Max Preps, Timberline ranks 2nd in the 6A Southern Idaho Conference and 9th in the entire state of Idaho. Come see the Wolfpack’s Homecoming game against the Capital Golden Eagles this Friday at Dona Larson Field.
