(Girls) Timberline vs Meridian January 14, 2025
With how dominant the varsity girls have been, there was no doubt their winning streak would continue while on the road against the Meridian Warriors. To no one’s surprise, Timberline won 61-49 led by their top scorer Ashlyn Graklanoff (Sr.) with 16 points.
(Girls) Timberline vs Centennial January 17, 2025
Coach Andy Jones continues to shatter everyone’s expectations of a supposed down year without star player Emmi Swillie (Jr.). The varsity girls’ basketball team has now won 7 straight games in a row. The newest team to join that list was the Centennial Patriots, when Timberline beat them 51-36 led by Danali Aggarwal (Sr.) scoring 13 points. However, the varsity girls look towards tougher matchups against the likes of the Kuna Kavemen on January 23, 2025, at 7:30 PM (HOME) and the Boise Braves on January 25, 2025, at 6 PM (AWAY).
(Boys) Timberline vs Owyhee January 15, 2025
The boys varsity basketball team sought to get back the win they should have against the defending state champs, the Owyhee Storm. However, Owyhee Storm (the #1 ranked team) was too much for the Timberline Wolves, resulting in a 48-31 defeat which handed Timberline their first loss of 2025.
(Boys) Timberline vs Mountain View January 17, 2025
Coach Travis Noble was looking to bounce back after losing the State Title Game rematch against the Owyhee Storm. Their next opponent would be in the form of the Mountain View Mavericks. Alex Ko (Sr.) took the Owyhee loss to heart and went on to score 21 points against the Mountain View. Alongside Ko was Kole Hudson (Jr.) scoring 16 points and making Timberline come out on top 54-44. The varsity boys look to add to this winning streak against the Eagle Mustangs on January 21, 2025, at 7:30 PM (HOME) and the Meridian Warriors on January 24, 2025, at 7:30 PM (AWAY).
