Sports fans were treated to an unforgettable day of action from rugby, baseball, and softball. A shocking upset in rugby saw the many games lead to great plays, while baseball spent their time getting in their runs. Meanwhile, on the softball field, a quick lead from our amazing hitters. With all these different events going on, March 15th proved to be a good day for our school.
Starting with boy’s rugby on the back fields at Timberline. Our rugby teams are played with a club and the teams are combined with people in and out of Timberline. On the 15th we played against Boise and the

Meridian team. All of these games were full of fast-paced and intense plays. During each game, both teams had incredible defense against each other. Since all the teams are for the same club it is a very good group of people, everyone knows everyone. The games are so fun to watch from the sidelines. In the end, the last game against Timberline and Meridian ended and all the teams shared pizza and talked together.
Next, we had a softball game also against Meridian. Timberline started off at bat and we got a lead quick. Our team is full of very talented players from all grades, though it is mostly built of seniors. This was a blowout game

with the walk-up songs, the crowd, and the spectacular plays. Everything about this game was super entertaining and super fun to watch

Ayla McDaniel (Sr.) doing her batting routine at the plate.
Lastly, baseball played against Madison twice. There were also great watches even though both games were losses our team never let their spirits down. Our amazing pitchers Nick Walborn (Sr.) and Vinny Peters (Jr.) were amazing on the mound and our catcher Cannon Searl (So.) was doing an amazing job throwing the ball quickly to the plates.
All in all, our teams played super great and we are super proud of the hard work they put into their passions.
