The Timberline Girls Varsity Soccer team finished their amazing season with an unforgettable weekend of games. On Friday, October 24th, they faced Owyhee in the semifinals and pulled off a tough 2–1 win. Anika Callender (So.) played a huge role in the victory, making a key defensive stop late in the second half to keep Owyhee from scoring and help Timberline move on to the finals.

The next day, October 25th, Timberline took on Rocky Mountain High in the state championship. The game was close from start to finish, with both teams playing hard. Timberline’s defense was staying strong against Rocky Mountain’s attacks. Reese Vachek (Jr.) scored the only goal of the game off a corner kick in the first half, giving Timberline a 1–0 lead. Rocky Mountain tried to tie it up in the final minutes, but Timberline held on until the whistle blew.
The win gave Timberline its first state championship since 2008, marking an exciting and emotional moment for the team and school. It was a perfect ending to a season filled with hard work, teamwork, and determination.
