This year, our own Timberline football team made school history. They had a 10-2 record overall and a 4-1 conference record. On September 26, the Wolves played Capital and dominated 50-19, officially sweeping the city for the first time since 2003. Then on October 24, they played Eagle in a very close matchup, winning 35-33, making Timberline the district champions. Winning this game entered us into the state bracket, where we played Middleton, winning 21-7, then Coeur d´Alene, winning 23-17. Our last game was against Rigby,

Brody Engroff (Jr.) after scoring a touchdown.
who had won 4 state championships in the last 6 seasons. Sadly, we lost this game 6-41, but for the first time in school history, we got second in the state, which is a huge achievement for the football team. Our head coach, Ian Smart, won the all-conference coach of the year award, along with lots of the team members making all-conference teams. The team also won academic all-conference honors. Overall, we are so proud of our wolfpack in their fight for victory this season and making school history.
