On September 29th, Starbucks came out with their protein lattes and cold foam. I ordered an iced Matcha with protein vanilla cold foam. It was $2 dollars to add the cold foam, which is quite overpriced considering the taste. The cold foam was very strong-tasting, not of vanilla but of the protein powder. The cold foam adds 15g of protein to your drink and comes in vanilla or banana flavor. If you’re looking for quick protein during break or lunch, I would recommend, but just keep in mind the strange and extra cash needed. But to the general public, I would not recommend the new cold foam.

My name is Zoey Heimer, and I’m a sophomore. I’ve lived in Boise my entire life, and this is my first time in Newspaper production. I’ve always thought it was very important to spread and share news and current events. I’m very good at picking up on small details, which will aid me in my journalism career. This year, I want to build the skill of photojournalism. A fun fact about me is that I love to draw and write, or anything I can do that is creative.
